Fatuma Abdullah ( Executive Consultant)
Marcia Maphangula is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of extensive experience in financial management across diverse industries, both locally and internationally. With a proven track record of success, Marcia has made significant contributions to organizations in sectors including Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Legal, Investment, Manufacturing, and Construction. Throughout her illustrious career, she has held executive roles such as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Managing Director (MD) in both SMEs and large companies. Her expertise extends to developing strategic policies, creating innovative revenue models, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, and maximizing return on investments.
One of her most notable achievements includes spearheading a company that achieved a remarkable turnover of R200 million. Her leadership skills and strategic vision have enabled her to navigate complex business environments and drive sustainable growth.
In addition to her executive roles, she is actively involved in governance and leadership roles. She serves on several Boards and chairs Board Committees, where her insights and expertise contribute to informed decision-making and effective governance practices. Furthermore, she is deeply engaged in mentoring and contributing to the development of future business leaders. As a mentor and adjudicator at the prestigious Gordon Institute of Business School (GIBS), she shares her wealth of knowledge and experience with aspiring professionals, helping them hone their skills and achieve their full potential. Currently, Marcia runs her own company, where she continues to leverage her extensive experience and expertise to provide strategic financial advisory services. With her multifaceted background in financial management, governance, and mentorship, She is a respected leader and a driving force in the business community.
Fatuma Abdullah is a dynamic professional with a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years in project management, strategic planning, business analysis, and entrepreneurship development. Armed with a Master's degree in E-Business Management and International Economics, as well as an undergraduate degree in Economics, Fatuma has cultivated a robust skill set and a deep understanding of global business dynamics. Throughout her career, she has successfully managed and implemented projects across Sub-Saharan Africa, collaborating with renowned organizations such as Barclays and ATMS, a UNDP Project. Her extensive experience includes serving as a director, overseeing a foundation with a budget exceeding R67 million. In this role, Fatuma demonstrated her proficiency in fund management, fundraising, and strategic disbursement of funds to various impactful projects.
In addition to her corporate achievements, she has embarked on a new endeavor as a self-published children's book author. With a passion for storytelling and a commitment to promoting African culture, she serves as an advocate for connecting children through engaging and culturally enriching narratives.
Fatuma's multifaceted background, coupled with her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to community development, sets her apart as a visionary leader and changemaker. Phathutshedzo Blessing Maphangula (Director)
Phathu Maphangula is a highly skilled professional with a diverse background and extensive experience in accounting, taxation, human resources, recruitment, and company secretarial services across various industries. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Human Resources, a Diploma in Business Accounting from ACCA, and is a Certified Business Accountant with SAIBA.
With 14 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience and 8 years of experience in human resources and recruitment, she has developed extensive expertise in financial management, tax consulting, payroll administration, HR management, recruitment, and company secretarial duties. Her professional experience spans various sectors, including information technology, accounting and finance, human resources, and investments.
Throughout her career, she has worked with small, medium, and large organisations, successfully managing complex financial and HR matters and adapting to diverse organisational structures and business requirements.
She is currently pursuing an Honours degree in Business Management and remains committed to continuous professional development, strengthening her expertise and staying abreast of industry developments and best practices.
